The 3.0 Ladies Interclub Team has experienced its ups and downs since last September. As of April 19, there have been 9 wins, 11 losses and 5 splits. We’ve had 6 matches rained out… I hate to say it… so far ! I look at it this way. If those 5 splits had gone our way, we would have better than a 50-50 record. That’s not bad. The season isn’t over yet, so we have a chance to improve on that statistic.

I believe that playing interclub has become a practice ground for ladies playing USTA. Taking chances, practicing strategies, going for practice shots may be a factor in our low win record but keeping the social purpose in mind, enjoying the day is the most important thing. Looking forward to lunch is a highlight.
