Like the t-shirt slogan, “Life is Good”, USTA Norcal’s Tennis for Life event was very, very good.
The all-day tournament for players ages 70 and older was hosted by the Sunnyvale Tennis Club on May 8.
There were over 120 players on 22 men’s and women’s teams which competed at the 6.5 and 7.5 levels. The
men’s 6.5 winners, the Sunnyvale Sure Shots, were captained by Ralph Kenton.

Coming in second place for the women’s 6.0 were Virginia Sorensen’s team:
