100 members and a few guests enjoyed the 5th Annual STC picnic/tennis under warm weather and sunny skies. Thanks to Patricia Perry for running team tennis and Jean Hassoun for doing the scheduling. Next year we will have a cut-off date one week before to be better organized. Thank you to my picnic committee, Karen Kenton and Hedy Schorr for doing a tremendous job in planning and organizing, as well as working on that date.
Thanks to our member volunteers: Robert Chiang, Mary Jane Bogoger, Pam Christie, Elinor Tanck, Ralph Kenton and Greg Yee. Thanks to the board members: Ed and Glory Tang, Honoris Ocasio and Jerre Bruyn.

Karen Kenton made a poster for the 2007 Slate of board members. Each board member present gave a brief description of their duties. Then we asked for volunteers for next year.
One person volunteered to assist in working on the www.sunnyvaletennisclub.org website.
Those present approved the Slate for next year.

15 people won raffle prizes. Coach Rick Newman thanked the club for supporting his Fremont High School girls team. He asked for used tennis racquet donations.

USTA captains were given a gift from the club for their perservering duties in running a team.Please join us next year.
